Our current garden is only 900 sq ft with just 9 raised beds serving our students. We’re expanding to 6,600 sq ft and 50 raised beds! This new expanded garden will serve as a cornerstone for a new Homestead Economics Class which will equip students with practical skills, including:

• Purchasing seeds and selecting crops
• Growing their own food and raising chickens
• Food preservation techniques
• Understanding the economics of self-sufficiency
• Learning fundamental business and finance skills
• Bread making, cooking, and other homesteading skills
