I was born and raised in Paradise, California, I attended Paradise Adventist Academy from 1st-12th grade. In 2017, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Walla Walla University. Following graduation, I married my husband Austin in 2018, and we returned to California where I began teaching Kindergarten at Orangevale Adventist School. This role allowed me to pursue my passion for educating young children. I've had the privilege of working with students from Kindergarten to 8th grade over the past 7 years, fostering their academic growth and nurturing their spiritual development.
In 2023, our family welcomed a new addition, my son Caden, bringing endless joy and love into our lives. Outside of teaching, I enjoy singing, reading, arts and crafts, exploring the outdoors, and cherishing moments with my family here in Placerville.
My commitment to Christian education extends beyond the classroom. I find deep fulfillment in helping students discover and cultivate a love for Jesus Christ, equipping them with essential skills to become compassionate and contributing members of society.
I was born and raised In a small town called Walla Walla, in southeast Washington. I went to high school and college there. I graduated from Walla Walla University with a BS in Elementary Education, and a minor in English. I have lived in Placerville since 2008 and started teaching at EAS in 2009.
I enjoy arts and crafts, gardening/being outside, reading, traveling, and cooking/baking. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, as well as my husband, daughter, and our miniature dachshund named Veda.
I have always wanted to be a teacher. I love seeing students’ minds grow and learn, especially their love and passion for God.
I was born in a small town in Missouri and spent part of my childhood in Arizona. I earned my BS in Marketing and Advertising from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ—where I also met my husband. We got married in 2022 and moved to his hometown of Placerville, CA. Soon after, I began working at EAS—the same school my husband attended from kindergarten through 12th grade—and quickly discovered a passion for education. I am now pursuing my primary education teaching certification through Pacific Union College and have been working in Christian education for three years. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of a community where faith and learning go hand in hand. I have a strong passion for helping students grow not only academically but also spiritually and personally. Athletics were a huge part of my own upbringing, and I love being able to share that part of my life with students—encouraging dedication, competitiveness, teamwork, and sportsmanship both on and off the field. When I’m not teaching or coaching, you’ll most likely find me hiking and enjoying the outdoors with my husband and our energetic Australian cattle dog, Mandy. I’m committed to helping students strengthen their relationship with Jesus and equipping them with the tools they need for a bright and meaningful future.
I was born in Loma Linda, California, and moved to Northern California in 2019. I was homeschooled through most of my early education, then attended an academy before transitioning to online classes. In May 2025, I graduated from Southern Adventist University with a B.A. in Liberal Arts Education.
In my free time, I love being outdoors, crafting, and baking. I also enjoy traveling and making memories with family and friends.
I've always had a passion for helping young minds learn more about God and the world around them. One of my greatest joys is watching students experience God’s love for themselves and grow—both academically and spiritually.
