During Placerville’s annual downtown Christmas Parade, El Dorado Adventist School made a bright, blue showing: students carried a school banner between clusters of helium balloons stamped with the Eagles logo, while other classmates followed alongside a small float decked in straw, lights, and a hand-painted “Hope • Jesus • Joy” sign. Inside the float was Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus.
